Dienes Module IV
Fully-automatic circular knife positioning system type DIENES Module IV equipped with motor driven bottom knives and pneumatic knife holders.
DIENES was asked by a number of customers to build a reliable fully-automatic system at a sound price to round off its popular scope of manual and semi-automatic modules. We think that the work was worthwhile; allow us to present version IV of the DIENES module series.
System Operation
After starting the program, the positioning module approaches the reference-point. During the next step, the autonomous drive concept developed by DIENES becomes evident: Although the top and bottom positioning modules are started simultaneously, the positioning optimization software makes them perform different paths. A parameter-based, process-optimized sequence is carried out, with the positioning modules running in opposite directions, and yet completing the positioning process nearly at the same time. Im einzelnen werden also alle Ober- und Untermesserpositionen angefahren, wobei ein im Positioniermodul integrierter Präzisionsmechanismus ein ortsgenaues Fixieren ermöglicht und anschließend das in seiner Arretierung automatisch freigegebene Schneidwerkzeug schnell in seine neue Position verfährt. Dort wird es wiederum ortsgenau abgesetzt und in harmonischem Wechsel mit der pneumatischen Einzelklemmung übernommen bzw. fixiert.
