Fully-automatic, retrofittable shear cut slitting system for Jagenberg Varidur

Machine frame width is 4690 mm, working width max. 4290 mm, slitting speed up tuo 1800 m/min. minimum slit width 100 mm, number of slits: 9, expanding air shaft Ø 355 mm, bottom knife dimensions Ø 400 x Ø 355 mm x 90 mm, positioning time 2 min.

For a fully automatic positioning of knife holders and multiple knife blocks via stored programme control (SPC). This system allows a simple handling because it is menu-driven. On the other hand, es e.g. recipe administration, service work, tooling displacement of knives, language, blade change, adjustment operation, search function and otheres are managed. The knives are removed by a gripper tong and placed with highest precision on a predetermined spot. After termination of all positioning steps, the gripper tong moves into its parking position while the pneumatic shaft for the bottom knife fixing is air-loaded.

The system offers high precision, extended service life, reduction of rejects and setup costs and a low-dust operation.
