The Steel Stripper Ring System
The steel stripper ring system is a method for pressing down or ejecting sheet strips. This system is often used for very narrow strip widths, because rubberised stripper rings of up to 2.5 mm thickness do not have the required rigidity to strip off the strips accurately from the cutting section. The center point around which the steel stripper rings rotate is different from that of the knives and spacers and are guided by additional pressure rolls. This system allows an easy adjustment to the thickness of the material to be cut, by simply adjusting the pressure rools.
